Walks around Anglesea

Anglesea is an ideal destination for holiday makers who like to go on walks. Choose from trails in the bushland and wetlands to surf and beach trails along the coast.

Surfing swimming and water activities

Choose from the beaches and the river for a selection of water based activities for the whole family. Hire a paddle boat and cruise the river or go canoeing up the Anglesea River. Explore the marine national park just offshore or swim in a quiet and protected corner of the river or beach.

Anglesea Golf Club

The golf club is on the Great Ocean Road and is an 18 hole par 73 course set in the natural bush with a local group of around 300 Eastern Grey kangaroos watching you play. With a collection of 42 bunkers, several raised greens and eucalypt lined fairways, the course offers you some stimulating golf and great nature views. Social golfers and groups are welcome to the course every day and even non-golfers can enjoy the course and a meal from the bistro that is open every day from 9am to 9pm.
